Carnegie Supernova Project II Retreat 2017
Sandbjerg Gods
Hej! CSP-II comes to Europe summer 2017. CSP-II members will come together with a handful of close collaborators to work on current papers. We will also be welcoming two recent postdoc hires and with them will initiate new projects. Topics to be addressed include, among others, Type Ia supernovae: early phase observations, observations meet theory and Type Ia near-field cosmology, the superluminous Supernova PS 15ae, Type II supernovae, narrow line 2002cx-like supernovae, and stripped envelope supernovae. Some empahsis will also be placed on pedagogy training. The workshop will be held at Sandbjerg Gods located in southern Denmark and is supported in part by the Villum Foundation, AUFF (Aarhus University Research Foundation), and the National Science Foundation (USA).
If you find yourself lost in transit and need a lifeline call Max @ +45-24999120.
